Super Anti-Aging Foods

Most of us would love to look like we did when we were younger, with that youthful glow, beautiful hair, smooth skin, and an incredible amount of energy we have. Many of us spend a fortune on expensive creams, lotions and spa treatments to preserve our youth.

Fortunately, nature has provided us with foods that can prevent premature aging and keep us looking younger for longer! We don’t need to spend a fortune and all we have to do is visit our local grocery store (also known as the local beauty shop!) and eat ourselves younger.

Here is a list of some super anti-aging foods we can pick up at our local beauty (grocery) store:

Dark chocolate: Rich in flavonol antioxidants, dark chocolate has not only been shown to boost the immune system and act as an anti-cancer food, it also makes us look younger! and positive outlook. It has been found to contain 8 times more antioxidants than strawberries and has also been shown to reduce hypertension.

Choose a variety that contains at least 65% cocoa. Dark chocolate with nuts, berries, and fruit rinds is also a great choice, but skip anything with nougat or cream fillings as they only add sugar, which can contribute to the aging process.

Tomatoes: They are rich in lycopene, which helps the body by preventing many types of ailments, preventing UV and sunburn. Vitamin C keeps our skin looking fresh and protects collagen while Beta-carotene helps keep eye problems at bay.
