Natural Remedy for Excema

Do you know of a natural remedy for eczema?

Do you know what causes it and how to treat it?

Excema is a serious skin disease that occurs for a variety of reasons. The skin appears red and itchy with scales. The rash may always appear red and swollen, and blisters may appear. The skin may also appear crusty, slimy, and red in color with some oozing. Eczema first appears in children and then increases with age. Adults will also experience Eczema in the form of dry itchy skin, ear fissures and rashes on the skin of the arms, legs and cheeks. Researchers aren’t really sure what causes eczema. The main understanding is that the disease is caused by an autoimmune reaction in which the body begins to attack and kill itself.

But there are several natural remedies that can be used to control Eczema and these are-

1. Local applications of coconut oil on dry and peeled areas. The natural oils found in coconut oil are great for lubricating the skin and keeping it moist.

2. Local applications of treated and medicated mud are ideal for preventing flare-ups of the skin condition. Although it is a better idea to combine mud pack with sunbathing session for best results.

3. Try topical applications of equal amounts of putty camphor and sandalwood. Combine this with a local water bath pack, where you apply alternating wet warm and cold packs to prevent peeling and blistering of the skin.

4. Ideally, all doctors recommend avoiding using strong soaps and detergents that can worsen the condition. However, you can try to make your own herbal soap, which you can make with olive oil soap. Take unscented olive oil soap and break it into a bowl, add a few drops of essential oil, chopped herbs and two teaspoons of oatmeal to it. Heat on gentle heat until the mixture is combined and pour into soap molds to cool.

Apart from that, you can also try to improve your lifestyle with a proper skincare routine. Start a new exercise routine where you exercise for at least 30 minutes each day. Boost your immune system with fresh foods and vegetables that will keep your body strong enough to prevent a recurrence.
