Introduction – Nature and Definition
Humans have lived together on this earth for ages and have had ample opportunity to mingle with one another, meaning they inevitably interact for a better collective life. However, the interactive life of human beings sometimes creates environmental hazards in this world. Technically, the soil and its environment of all living organisms is the environment. The environment has various effects on the development of living and non-living things. There are two environmental categories; natural and artificial. The natural environment includes greenery and all living and non-living things; This medium is fresh and pure, so it is valuable for human health. On the other hand, the artificial environment consists of man-made environments, so anything made by humans can be good as well as bad.
Scientific advances have positive and negative effects on the world and the environment, for example the chemical industry creates pollution and pollutes water. Today, the natural environment is polluted day by day due to the unfair interventions of human beings. Pollution, global warming, deforestation and soil erosion are the main dangers posed by this attitude.
- Pollution – Wikipedia defines pollution as: “It is the introduction of pollutants into the natural environment that causes adverse change”. There are four main types of pollution; air, water, noise and soil. But air pollution and water pollution are by far the most harmful. Moreover, due to this disaster, the freshness of nature is decreasing day by day.
- Global warming – The term refers to the gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and the destruction of the ozone layer in the process. This is mostly used for motor vehicles, factories, etc. This happens because of the smoldering smoke released by the pest. Also, global warming is the reason why our normal climate is slowly but surely changing.
- deforestation – It is the felling of trees to use the land and wood for improper purposes. According to the FAO, 18 million acres (7.3 million hectares) of forest are lost each year. Trees are the most important factor for survival. One person commented amusingly about the act of deforestation, “Imagine if the trees were giving off Wi-Fi signals, we’d be planting a lot of trees and possibly saving the planet as well. Unfortunately, they only produce the oxygen we breathe.”
- soil erosion – Soil erosion is defined as:erosion of the topsoil“Farmers grow crops in the upper layer of the soil as it is abundant in nutrients and other organic matter. But when the soil erodes, they have difficulty in farming and planting. It is clear that life cannot continue without proper agricultural faculties.
The above-mentioned negativities should be taken under control as they damage all the elements in the ecosystem. To this end, adopting an environmentalist approach would be a good attitude to develop a fresh ecosystem. Environmentalism means practicing good habits towards the environment and avoiding inappropriate behavior towards the environment. Also, here are a few security measures that can help protect the ecosystem:
Maximum tree planting,
Using ozone friendly motor vehicles,
Keeping toxic wastes separate,
Cleaning the water tanks from time to time,
Avoidance of synthetic fertilizers,
Recycling of various materials,
Using biodegradable products,
Using cloth bags instead of plastic bags.
The wholehearted fulfillment of the above-mentioned measures can create peaceful environments for humanity.
The individual is a combination of body, mind and spirit; Similarly, the environment is the sum of soil, water and air. While people are trying to protect their physical health, increase their mental peace and increase their spiritual calmness; human beings should also consciously and conscientiously try to protect the soil, clean the water and provide clean air. I would like to finish my article on these wise words. Muhammad (pbuh): “Protect and honor the earth, for the earth is your mother.”
